Nachdem Sony ja schon mit dem Rootkit in den letzten Tagen für tonnenweise Liebesbriefe gesorgt hat, legen die Japaner es jetzt richtig drauf an: Wie der Inquirer schreibt, könnte die PS3 dank eines von Sony eingereichten Patentes verhindern, dass Spiele in anderen Playstations als der des Besitzers abgespielt werden können. Klartext: Silberscheibe wird beim ersten Einlegen irgendwie markiert, danach geht sie nur noch in diesem Player. Kein Verleih, kein Tausch, kein Ebay. Viel Spaß mit dem neuen Gerät!
